$125K Matching Gift Challenge

A small group of individuals has offered a matching gift challenge to the rest of the congregation to help raise $250,000 for our general fund. Through the end of 2025, they will match every extra dollar we give to the general fund for the rest of the year, up to a $125,000 match.  They hope to help us pay back $120,000 borrowed from savings and begin next year with a healthier checking account.  Here’s how it works:
 

• Whatever you are giving regularly now does not count toward the challenge.  The purpose is to raise funds above and beyond our normal giving in order to restore and build up our general operating fund.
• If you give by offering envelope, place your additional gift in a separate envelope with the word CHALLENGE written on the envelope.
• If you give online, choose the “2025 Challenge” fund.  Please consider adding the 3% credit card charge to your donation.  Paying the fee will give the church 6% more, thanks to the match.  Click the link below to give online.
