Other Happenings
Church Oversight Board. The Church Oversight Board (COB) will be available in the Conference Room for the next two Sundays (July 12 & 19), from 8:45-9:15 am, to listen to any concerns, answer questions, and pray with you. COB members are also available by phone or email during the week.
School Kits for MCC. Clinton Frame Sewing will be collecting school supplies for Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) during the month of July. A list of supplies and a school kit bag can be picked up at the table in the foyer. Questions can be directed to Mim Hoover or Donna Stoltzfus.
Sunday School. There will be no children’s and youth Sunday school on Sunday, July 26.
Elkhart County Fair Volunteer Opportunities.
We will again be staffing the Lamb Club food stand at the Elkhart County 4-H Fair on Saturday, July 25. The Lamb Club will pay us to work in the booth and monies raised will go towards local community outreach projects. Lots of people are needed to help cover all of the shifts and positions and volunteers will receive a free pass to enter the fair if needed.Sign up here.

Free Concert. Credo Music, a national summer festival based in Oberlin, Ohio, presents an evening of string chamber music on Tuesday, July 14, 7:30 PM in Rieth Recital Hall, Goshen College Music Center. The concert is free and open to the public. Credo’s mission is to inspire young string players to develop their gift of music, to acknowledge that it is a gift from God, and then respond with joyous service to their community.
The Window—Urgent Need
For nearly 60 years, The Window in Goshen has been a vital lifeline in our community by providing food, and many other essential services to people in our community facing difficult life circumstances. Due to recent significant financial and operational challenges, The Window has entered a critical 30-day stabilization period where they will be pausing some of their usual operations and work toward building more sustainable financial future. Plans are to resume full operations on July 27.
